If you own a dog then you need our group walks
In our opinion every dog needs to attend group walks even if it’s not ours. Just like our children go to school, your dog needs time with other dogs
Dogs teach each other valuable skills that we humans can’t. The most important lesson we believe is how to behave around other dogs
A new puppy or dog that’s not been trained, off lead running up to a dog it doesn’t know in the park that’s on lead is such a dangerous situation
Group walks within a pack teach your dog these skills that will help develop them greatly
Nervousness around other dogs, separation anxiety and much more is avoided by allowing your dog time away from the family home. Your dog will learn so much when away from the family home socialising and playing with their pack friends
No dog is born afraid of other dogs, something happens which makes them this way. Instead of having a dog that is shy of other dogs all its life, it’s better to tackle that issue and allow your dog to enjoy its life around other dogs. It will make your life easier and more enjoyable seeing your dog have so much fun with other dogs
Group walks alone sometimes don’t help the most shy dog but we can usually put a program together that will allow your dog to build up to enjoying others dogs company again
We offer three group walks per day. A morning, mid morning and early afternoon walk
All our dogs go off lead, we do not walk dogs on lead unless they are new to the pack
We don’t expect every dog to be highly trained however we do expect you to have done some basic training. We need to guarantee their safety so if they don’t recall or at least stay with the pack then we can’t allow them on our walks
Of course if you have a young puppy / dog we know they won’t be fully trained and will work with you to assist their development
Puppies are allowed on group walks once they get to a certain age. This depends on their breed, larger breeds will be allowed sooner than smaller breeds. This is simply because our dogs have fun playing, we can’t have a tiny puppy playing with a fully grown dog as this could lead to injury just by accident
If you would like your dog to join our group walks then you message us with your requirements. If we have space we come for a home visit to get to know your dog and their family
Your dog with then start a trial period. If for any reason we don’t feel they are suitable we will provide video feedback and explain our reasons. We will also not charge you anything as we hope you will take this feedback and work on it so your dog can return to us at a later date
Your dog will be collected and then dropped off around 90 minutes later. Our travel time is kept to minimum due to the fact we will not walk dogs that live too far away
If you feel 90 minutes isn’t long enough for your dog to be out of the house due to you working long hours then we do have deals for 2/3 walks. We also offer the companion service which is around 5 hours per day and fantastic value for money
For extra peace of mind you can pay extra to have your dog tracked by GPS
