We're Hiring!

We're looking for a special person to join our team on a part time basis to cover staff holidays and sick days.

To be a self employed dog walker, you have to be very organised, hard working and reliable just to get going!

Waking up with the flu means you still get yourself to work as your dogs rely on you to take them out, of course there are always times you are even too sick to come to this job that we all love. 

I (Ross) suffer from tonsilitis quite often which has put me in hospital before so we as a team want to find someone who can help out when required so we don't have to let our clients down.

We understand this position will not suit everyone as the team are rarely that sick we cant get to work, this will mainly be cover for when the team take holidays which is mainly during school holidays.

Two of our staff have previously joined as cover but moved to full time once they found out what a great job this is!

We require someone local, this is very important.

You will have your own large car / van suitable for transporting dogs in crates that we would provide.  When covering for Ross you would be given the company van so you must be over 30 for our insurance to cover you.

Hours we work are 0900 - 1500 Monday to Friday

To start with you will shadow the team to learn everything it takes to be a dog walker, you will need to bond with all of our 67 dogs. This period can take weeks which is unpaid as you will be learning and not working as such.

When you cover for the team your wage will depend on how many dogs you walk per day, this will be discussed in more detail.

You will be self employed so will be responsible for paying your own tax.
